In April of this year, Bobby Brown confirmed that Robyn and Whitney had an affair and his feeling that Whitney only married him to shut people up about her relationship with Robyn.

Their friendship has continued over the years, and as Whitney pursued a singing career, Robyn became invaluable as advisor and organizer.
