Here it is – word for word – the latest post from Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson on Linday’s MySpace Blog. Not only do they slam Sarah Palin in detail, they also talk about the “Love Won Out Conference” being sponsored by Palin’s church. Yes, they are going to pray away the gay in Alaska.

Bent Alaska had a little blurb about the “conference”:

“Programs like Love Won Out are dangerous for kids and divisive for families,” said PFLAG National executive director Jody M. Huckaby. “Every bit of evidence available suggests that children who grow up in homes that accept them – and not try to change them – are far happier and healthier than those subjected to these anti-family tactics. It is nothing short of extremist to imply that families should do anything other than love their children as they are, and nothing short of outrageous to infer that LGBT kids aren’t fine just the way they are.”

Girls (Lindsay and Samantha) – THANK YOU for bringing attention to our issues and to the extreme views of Sara Palin.

Two lesbo moms and their little man have been watching and hoping for the best for both of you!

And, thank you to our reader Anna for alerting us to the new blog post.  Little Man decided that he wanted to “camp out” with me on the sofa last night and we’re just waking up for some pancakes.  So Anna – huge thanks!

Hugs and kisses,

UH OH!
Current mood: shocked

I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.

I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…

Palin’s Desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.

Here’s the AP text:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) ? Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child.

Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

And in the words of Pamela Anderson, “She can suck it”..

Lindsay- “I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for obama!”

Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”

I’m very happy that someone alerted you to this wonderful post by Samantha and Lindsay… as in my ineptitude I was unable to figure out how to get the information to you and knew that you, like myself, would appreciate this post!

Samantha and Lindsay made some very valid points in their blog about just the kind of “change” that McCain/Palin will bring to the White House and more importantly to the country if elected, and that change is by all indications not going to be a good one for women and definitely not a good one for lesbians or the LGBT community as a whole! I fear that if McCain/Palin are elected (and the increasing numbers for these two worry me) we will see a major setback in women’s rights as well as equal rights for the LGBT community.

In my response to this post on Samantha’s site I stated that people really need to get beyond Sarah Palin’s looks, comparisons to Tina Fey and the fact that simply because she is a woman does not make her in any way qualified to be in the second most powerful position in this country. I hope that before this election people will really take a little time out to go beyond her new found celebrity status and educate themselves about her actual stance on things and her political views/beliefs, etc. and then when they go to the polls to vote they will do the right thing (which in this case IMHO would be to vote for Obama/Biden).

I also hope that the people who live in my state (Florida) will VOTE NO on AMENDMENT 2!
For our friends in California VOTE NO ON PROP 8.

Both Amendment 2 and Prop 8 are an attempt to put down as law in each states constitution that marriage is solely between a man and a woman (thus eliminating the rights of same sex couples to marry). These amendments are designed to fuel the ire of people who somehow feel that the union of same sex couples would somehow destroy the sanctity of marriage (something that heterosexuals with their divorce rate around 50% apparently aren’t already doing themselves). HYPOCRITICAL and PREJUDICIAL! Not only that, but if these amendments were to pass it would lead to murky waters that would also possibly lead to dire consequences for Florida’s committed adults (read: even the Heterosexual ones) who form domestic partnerships, including unmarried seniors, eliminating their ability to share important health care and pension benefits.”

  2. Why is Lindsay commenting on Gov. Palin’s personal life? She didn’t comment on Lindsay’s great performance in I KNOW WHO KILLED ME or about her drug addiction. Turnabout is fair play.

    Hi X and Chad –

X – great comment and information, as usual. Thanks for adding so much to our blog.

Chad, how are you? So glad that you stopped by. We LOVE getting comments, especially from someone new.

You can’t run as the “Hockey Mom” VP and then claim that your family life is your “personal life” now can you?

Wouldn’t it be great if Sarah Palin were only running for a Hockey Mom VP in a Disney movie? That way, no one would give a shit that she’s not prepared for the job.

And, I think that Sarah Palin would do a great job as a color commentator on Linday Lohan’s life . . . finally a job that Palin is qualified to do.

Chad, hope you come by often to watch 2 Lesbos Goin At It!

    Hugs and kisses,

    One Lesbo
