Here it is – word for word – the latest post from Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson on Linday’s MySpace Blog. Not only do they slam Sarah Palin in detail, they also talk about the “Love Won Out Conference” being sponsored by Palin’s church. Yes, they are going to pray away the gay in Alaska.

Bent Alaska had a little blurb about the “conference”:

“Programs like Love Won Out are dangerous for kids and divisive for families,” said PFLAG National executive director Jody M. Huckaby. “Every bit of evidence available suggests that children who grow up in homes that accept them – and not try to change them – are far happier and healthier than those subjected to these anti-family tactics. It is nothing short of extremist to imply that families should do anything other than love their children as they are, and nothing short of outrageous to infer that LGBT kids aren’t fine just the way they are.”

UH OH!

I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.

I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…

Palin’s Desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.

Here’s the AP text:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) ? Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child.

Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

And in the words of Pamela Anderson, “She can suck it”..

Lindsay- “I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for obama!”

Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”

The Washington Post brings true clarity to the relationship between Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.    Here is a screen shot of the Washington post report and photo:

Why post this?  Well, we wanted another reason to show a couple of heroes in the gay and lesbian community.  More importantly, this screen shot shows us what we would have been seeing over the last several months if a reputable news organization had been publishing the reports.

In other words, tabloids print the worst and ugliest shots that they can get of their subjects.   They try to make people look bad.  On the other hand, for those of us who usually follow more traditional sources of information about celebrities, we’re accustomed to seeing the BEST shots of celebrities.  We see the photos and video that put “stars” in their best light and that make these ordinary people look larger than life.

So as we watched these photos of Samantha Ronson over the last few months, we were shocked that such an “ugly” and ordinary person would gain the affection of Lindsay Lohan.

But look at this photo from the Washington Post.   Is that even the same girl that we’ve been seeing in the tabloids?

Bottom line – good news sources = good photos of celebrities.

Girls . . . do not screw this up . . . you’re making us too happy.   As Sarah (one of our readers) pointed out in a comment, you’re becoming so fantabulous together that not even Perez Hilton dare to deface a photo of you together.   Yes, even Perez  MANgina Hilton is falling in love with Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan.

Lesbian moms get enough crap from far-right wing-nut conservatives.    Hey Lindsay, you might want to get off the Red Bull even if you aren’t with child.

On August 15, 2008, researchers from the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the Royal Adelaide Hospital reported that just one can of Red Bull can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, even in young people: “One hour after they drank Red Bull, [their blood systems”] were no longer normal. They were abnormal like we would expect in a patient with cardiovascular disease.” Lead Researcher Scott Willoughby added that Red Bull “could be deadly when combined with stress or high blood pressure, impairing proper blood vessel function and possibly lifting the risk of blood clotting. 

Red Bull Australia spokesperson Linda Rychter responded that the report would be studied by the company, but added that the effects reported were no different to those experienced by drinkers of a single cup of coffee. 

Okay – now for the real Lindsay “news” which isn’t news to anyone with even half a heart (brains may not count here).

If I were Samantha Ronson, I’d go punch the jerk.  First he goes to the media claiming that Lindsay is drinking again and not working because of Sam; now he says that’s not what he meant.   I’ve concluded that he’s a homophobic ass with a lesbian daughter .  Yes, I think Lindsay is a “real” lesbian.   She has dramatically changed her behavior, attitude, look . . . everything . . . since she started openly living with Samantha Ronson.    I don’t think it’s the magic of Samantha as much as the magic of finally living life as herself.

DRUG FREE Current mood: betrayed Category: Life If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that’s what i have believed my whole life- don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going… If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same. Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is). He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it. Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful. This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item. I’m not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on… I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.
