‘The Real Housewives of Orange County‘ has added a real live lesbian to their cast and really . . . I think we might see some interesting interaction with the straight women.  Every straight woman wants to give it a try and Fernanda (hope she has a nickname) is just the ticket.

This season, when the Orange County wives come back – they won’t need to be on the prowl for steamy suburban drama – I suspect that Rocha can give ’em everything they need and more.

They will be unforgettable, Daisy Dukes, Bikinis on top.   Sun kissed skin.   So hot they’ll melt your flesh colored popsicle. Oooooh oh oooooh

“We wanted our son to see families like his represented in an educationally-based cartoon. Since nothing was available, we created one for him and all the other children with LGBT parents,” according to Executive Producer Margaux Towne-Colley.

“Buddy G reflects reality, most  –  if not all – children will meet another child with gay parents, and there needs to be a vehicle for including these families in mainstream entertainment for children,” said Towne-Colley.

“The beauty of Buddy G is we could substitute any character or even cast of characters into the series and the content would not have to change at all,” said Towne-Colley. “Take Buddy G and his moms out of the series and substitute the families from Dora, Little Bill, or Caillou, and the dialogue and storylines could stay the same. Bottom line is that the show isn’t about the so called gay agenda.”

Friday: PTA meeting, circle pickup, play date with Billy, basketball practice, family birthday party at Catholic Church Social Hall

Saturday: basketball game at the Y, join Proposition 8 nation wide protest, birthday party for Suzie at Bounce U, drop off for sleepover, catch up on work, update Two Lesbos blog . . . And “no” we aren’t making this up. This is our real up to the moment “to-do” that we did.

Sen. Barack Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has died following a bout with cancer, Obama and his sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, said Monday. She was 86.

At a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, Monday night, the Illinois senator said “she has gone home and she died peacefully in her sleep with my sister at her side.”

On her blog, Hollywood Farm Girl, Tammy Lynn Michaels reveals her thoughts on her upcoming re-marriage to Melissa Etheridge.  Apparently marriage equality (including the obligations and responsibilities) is becoming popular with celebrity lesbo couples.  

Well, it’s probably becoming popular with all gay and lesbian couples who have children.  Isn’t it so radical that these parents want to give their children the security of a legally recognized family?

honey and i were married on September 20, 2003. gowns, flowers, table numbers, assignments, DJ AM, and a candy table for the children. so when people approach me and say “are you getting married?” i feel like i need to check over my shoulder to see if they are really talking to me. Me? You talking to me? Me with the lasagne noodles up to my elbows, a mop and bucket i need to wash out, a list of fifteen trinkets and trackets to pick up at the store… Me? Me with the poop smear on hand cuz i missed it after i was wiping a wee one, me with the grocery list started, a plan for the family for the week, and three birthday parties to start thinking about… you want to know if i want to get married?

Melissa put it this way, “Yes, we have four children and we’re trying to find the right time,” to legally tie the knot.

VP’s Wife Lynn Cheney is Asked About Marriage Equality (Gay Marriage)

Speaking of little boys with two mommies, we haven’t heard much from or about little Samuel David Cheney .  Samuel was born in April of last year to his 2 lesbian moms Heather Poe and Mary Cheney, daughter of VP Dick Cheney.

This morning Early Show anchor Harry Smith asked Mamow Lynne, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney and mother to lesbian Mary Cheney, whether she wished her daughter would have the right to marry.

Lynn Cheney responded, “I would wish my daughter to have happiness and freedom to make her own choices.  The Vice President said in the debate with Joe Lieberman ever so long ago in 2000 that freedom in this country ought to mean freedom for everyone.”

Del Martin Dies – Lesbian Hero The marriage of Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon on June 16, 2008 was the first legally recognized marriage of a same gender couple in the State of California.  Ms. Martin and Ms. Lyon have been part of our celebrity “Lesbo Photos” page since day one.   We’re very sad to learn of Ms. Martin’s death. Although 2 Lesbos Goin At It is a fun blog with lots of information about celebrity relationships, at heart we’re lesbian activists wanting the best life possible for us, our son and others like us.  So while we take time to see the humor in the lives of LGBT people, this is a good time to remind our readers that we appreciate the hard work that went before us by leaders such as Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon; and while we don’t always agree with them, we’re thankful for organizations such as PFLAG, the Family Equality Council, COLAGE, GLSEN, Freedom to Marry, LAMBDA Legal, GLAAD and even . . .
