Caroline Kennedy is educated, smart, caring, dedicated, hard-working, respected, not polarizing, articulate, traveled, well-known, and she can raise money and get votes. In fact, with the position that she has on most issues – she’d get our votes. We totally support her as the next Senator from New York.
The New York Times has published a series of questions and answers by Caroline Kennedy regarding her positions on several issues. One of the most important for us, “Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples,” wrote spokesman Stefan Friedman. Asked if Ms. Kennedy had written the answers herself, her spokesman, Stefan Friedman, said: “These are Caroline’s positions. The responses were drafted by her and her staff.”
Here is the exact question and Ms. Kennedy’s answer.
Q. Does she support state or federal legislation that would legalize same-sex marriage?
A. Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples.
More after the jump.
The life of lesbian mothers is interesting to say the least. We’re taking Little Man to his basketball games, attending PTA meetings, and all the usual.
Friday: PTA meeting, circle pickup, play date with Billy, basketball practice, family birthday party at Catholic Church Social Hall
Saturday: basketball game at the Y, join Proposition 8 nation wide protest, birthday party for Suzie at Bounce U, drop off for sleepover, catch up on work, update Two Lesbos blog . . . And “no” we aren’t making this up. This is our real up to the moment “to-do” that we did.

We have new details and more video of tonight’s (October 21) episode of House on FOX. The show starts at 8:00 pm eastern / 7 pm central and is a DO NOT MISS.
Dr. Hadley (aka “Thirteen” played by Olivia Wilde) has a one-night stand lesbian love fest with a stranger.
The video at the end of the above link is hot and the show is going to be even better.
DO NOT MISS IT!
Sarah Palin has a 5 month old special needs baby. Sarah Palin has a 17 year old daughter who is pregnant. Sarah Palin needs to keep her ass in the same state as her children for at least the next several weeks.
If she were a mom in our PTA, with a kid in our school, or if she were a neighbor mom, all the rest of the moms in the neighborhood (the rest are straight) would all be talking behind her back and most of us would tell her to her face, “Lady, especially considering your resume, your children need you much more than the country does. Now get home and be a mother.”
How dare Sarah Palin bring all of this down on her daughter’s shoulders so that she can get what she wants? And, some extreme Christians think that lesbian mothers are selfish?
We know all the liberal crap that dads can take care of children just as well . . . And, maybe he can but when a child has 2 parents, why not give them the benefit of two parents? Apparently, what the Palins have been doing up to this point is not working. Why not try something new like “Putting Family First?” Do you people only use that 2 parent stuff when you’re trying to prove that I’m a bad mother?
(By the way, why do our opponents often argue against same sex parenting by using research showing that children need 2 parents? Don’t they get it? There are 2 of us. Weird.)
We changed our jobs – no – we changed our entire lives so that we could raise our son instead of hiring a nanny or daycare to raise him for us. He has always had at least 1 stay at home parent and with an office in the house, most of the time he’s always had 2 parents at home.
Many of you straight parents are plain and simple, not very good parents; and Sarah Palin is one of the worst that we’ve seen running out on her children when they obviously need her.
So, while we don’t like being part of this circus that is raining down on a 17 year old girl, except for the extra readers that it’s bringing to our blog, we think the blame falls directly on the beehive of hot Sarah Palin.
Gotta go, I hear a little request for “mommy” coming from the bedroom next to my office.

“WND – A Free Press for a Free People”
You know about World Net Daily, right? The Internet “news” site that is also known as “WND – World Nuts’ Daily.”
If you’ve never heard of the site, let’s just say that WND is tilted toward the right wing, evangelical, crazy-conservative view of news and world events.
Well, finally WND is catching on to the real lives of lesbian couples. Yes, it’s true. It really is.
A few weeks ago I described my relationship in a post titled “We’re Not Lesbians We’re A Straight Married Couple.” And now, WND has an article on the same subject titled “Lesbian Child Custoday Battles and Heterosexual Divorce,” pointing out that when it comes to breaking up – our relationships look a lot like their relationships. Yes, Virginia, these creatures seem to have the same traits as real humans!
While the WND article tries to make the point, “see – told you it wasn’t the man’s fault when parents act like asses during a divorce;” the article actually makes a much more important point. If us lesbians act like married people and have children just liked married people – it looks like a marriage, walks like a marriage – the law should allow lesbians to get friggin married.
However, the HUGE point is this. What do married people do when they break up? They act like asses. What is one of the worst things that can happen during these situations? The children get used as weapons. How does society keep some order to this mess and how do we protect the children? We have laws and a judicial system to help these families come together and for parents to go their own way. And, we know that even with this judicial system in place for heterosexual families – people still find a way to hurt each other and children.
Now, why on Earth is society (especially the children described in the WND article) in a better place by giving lesbians a who-knows-anything-goes system? In most states, there is no way for a family with lesbian parents to legally connect nor a system for them to divide their belongings and decide on child custody, visitation or child support. I mean – really, couldn’t state laws at least incorporate a cage match into the system to give us some boundaries?
Hello WND – your common sense is showing.
