Here is a great slideshow of Olympian and lesbian Natasha Kai of the USA Women’s Soccer Team:

Thousands of fans gathered in Waikiki for a parade and party honoring Hawaii’s outstanding athletes. The festivities included Olympian Natasha Kai and the Waipio Little League world champions.   “It’s amazing coming back here and seeing all the young and old talent. Hawaii is just growing every year,” said Olympic gold medalist Natasha Kai.

The Parade of Champions, held on Labor Day, was the fans’ chance to celebrate the local stars and also included silver medalist Robyn Ah Mow-Santos and a slew of Hawai‘i’s past Olympians.Leading the Little League entourage was a car showcasing Paliku Winchester, the younger brother of third baseman Pikai Winchester. The story of Paliku, who was diagnosed with lymphoma in February, was considered a lucky charm for the team and was one of the many stories surrounding Little League. At the opposite end of the world, the most elite athletes were competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Some 18 athletes had ties to Hawai‘i and 12 earned medals. The first of them to win gold was the Kahuku High School and University of Hawai‘i alum and Two Lesbos Goin At It love muffin Natasha Kai.As every good lesbian knows by now, Kai scored the winning goal against Canada in the 102nd minute of play sending the U.S. women’s soccer team to the gold medal match. This gave the women the chance to win their third gold medal in four Olympic Games. The parade also included past Olympians Kathy Hammond (1972 track), Verneda Thomas (1964 volleyball), present Olympians Ah Mow-Santos (silver medal volleyball) and Clarissa Chun (wrestling), as well as some of the lesser known Hawai‘i champions such as the Mililiani-Waipio Bobby Sox champions and the USSSA World Series Baseball U10 Oahu Dirtbags.Missing from the parade was men’s volleyball gold medalist Clay Stanley and gold medalist Bryan Clay.

Did anyone else notice that there was no coverage of lesbian or gay significant others who were watching their spouses/mates/partners from the stands in Beijing? Natasha is very out and open and has given interviews indicating that Angela would be traveling to Beijing but . . . where was she?   And, even though it was reported that a breakup with a girlfriend had caused Natasha some problems on the field – no follow up story.  Didn’t we all want to know – WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?  Where is the rest of the story?

Michael Phelps’ mom and sisters were EVERYWHERE.    But the lgbt folks – nothing about their personal lives.

Matthew Mitcham, the out gay diver from Australia won a gold medal and his partner was in the stands watching but . . . nothing . . . nothing about his partner or any of his family members.   In fact, I don’t think they even mentioned that the guy is gay even though he’s been the cover boy of several gay magazines covering his trip to Beijing.

Different topic.   Here is a blogger who says, “One other note: It was slightly difficult to root for the US when Natasha Kai was on the field…because I fucking hate her.”    Click here to find out why.

Natasha Kai Fun facts:

Of her 19 tattoos, one is a message inscribed above her right hip: “Appreciate the moment. The most precious treasure is MY heart. When I share it with YOU, protect it, as if it was your own.” … Her most recent additions are stars on the back of her neck that resemble the stars on the U.S. uniform.

Who Will Travel To Beijing – Ashley

This is Kai’s second trip to China in eight months. The U.S. went 3-0 at the Four Nations Tournament in January, a trip that several of Kai’s family members went on, all wearing T-shirts that read “Made in Hawaii” on the back.

Asked if her family was coming again, she replied, “You know it. Mom, dad, sister, two brothers and my friend Ashley will be there.”

The Natural

The images of Natasha Kai’s first soccer match are still vivid in her mother Sharon’s mind.

There is Natasha, then 7, weighing less than 50 pounds and standing barely 4 feet, the top of her head reaching the shoulders of her opponents …

There is Natasha, her ponytail bounding with every step, darting past defenders …

There is Natasha, scoring a goal.

“It was surprising, because she had never played soccer before,” Sharon said.

Natasha Kai

Enough about those lovely lesbian ladies from Norway, on to the USA!

Natasha Kai (born May 22, 1983, Hawaii) is an American soccer player and member of the United States women’s national soccer team. She came out casually during an interview with NBC:

“It was a hard time,” remembered Kai, who saw action limited action under former coach Greg Ryan as one of the last three players added to the 2007 World Cup roster. “I had missed the first camp [under Sundhage] in early-January because I had bronchitis, and I was going through a nasty break-up with my girlfriend. Then [Coach Sundhage] told me my job was on the line.”

We wanted to do a blog together; but as usual we couldn’t agree on the name or what we would write about or the theme for the design.  I suppose that shouldn’t be a surprise since we can’t seem to agree on anything.   “They” say that we aren’t married but if we aren’t, why does it have to feel so much like a marriage complete with ball and chain?

We’re civiled & unionized but bottom line – we’re two lesbos goin at it – over anything and everything.

It’s been 10 years since we met.  What a fun night.   I was working out of town and decided to try out the tiny lesbian neighborhood bar down the street from my hotel.   I noticed her almost as soon as she came in the door.   Everyone seemed to know her.  She was so perky.   Okay, so even though the word “perky” may conjure up dreams of a just-old-enough-to-avoid-jail cheerleader, I can’t say that the dream is far off the mark.   Even from across the room I could tell that joy was pouring out of every inch of her.

I’m not sure how we managed to be standing side by side at the bar so quickly.   In my memory it seems like she was at the door across the room talking to everyone in the bar and then she was right beside me.   One of those twitch my nose things and zap, there she is.   I’ve had that happen.  A totally different story and totally different girl.

Okay, you talked me into it.  I’ll tell the other story first.

The bar was down a dark alley.  The door wasn’t marked.  Only a small light above the door with selective admittance by peep hole invitation.

Once I’m in, through the smoke and by the light of a bulb hanging over a pool table, I notice a girl (probably straight) with a great butt.  I barely had a chance to think about her and her butt.   Hold on . . . next thing you know she’s dropping her jeans and panties to show me her tattoo that . . .  just happens to be on her butt.

Wouldn’t I be a great testimonial for that movie “The Secret“?

The Secret has swept the world and touched millions of lives; mine is one more story of a life transformed into joy.  Learn of the bliss that I have have created in my own life as I share the power behind the law of attraction.  Works on family, friends, pets, health, wealth, and now . . . stranger’s butts.

Anyway . . . that was a weird night.   I’m minding my own business trying to get a sneak peak at a stranger’s butt, that looks quarter bouncing fantabulous, when next thing you know I’m checking out a tattoo on that butt, hearing about Chinese philosophy and the “meaning” of a butt tattoo.  There is “meaning” in a butt tattoo?  Who knew?

I always thought a butt tattoo meant a girl was an easy mark for one out of control sexcapade.   And, please – never more than one night with a girl sporting a butt tattoo.  Even though my mother would never know . . . well, actually my mother would know.  She’s one of those mothers.

Did you know that in Chinese philosophy, “yin and yang are generalized descriptions of the antitheses or mutual correlations in human perceptions of phenomena in the natural world, combining to create a unity of opposites”?   Shocking, the load of crap that one collects from looking at one butt in a smokey peephole alley bar just before closing time.   Thank the good Lord that it was only one night of hearing about the meaning of a butt tattoo.

Well, that was then and I’m in a different place now.

Back to my original story.  No, this girl didn’t have a butt tattoo.  She hated tattoos and women that went around looking at stranger’s butts and having one night stands.   Instead she was happy, joyful and perky.     So even though we had  . . .

He’s awake.  Our little man is awake.  I’m hearing a sleepy call for “Mommy” from his room.   “Mommy is on her way, sweetie.”
